So the epithet must be original, have a John Candyish touch to it with just a dash of Celine Dion (for those people who get off on the pathetic), a giant scoop of Pierre Elliot Trudeau's deviousness and a years supply of Fin de la Siecle beer from Unibroue.
A most excellent analysis, my friend.

I propose a Parliamentary Commission on nthe American Problem. Think about it: jobs for me and you, reams and reams of BC's best wasted, along with barrels and barrels of tax money, and at the end of it all, we can publish a White Paper that will be bound to get all those PC-ist Redneckistanians in knipshits over the colour bias.

Umm, in the meantime, why don't we just keep calling them Americans? It's worked so far.

PS (do you call them Yanks yourself?)

I think Little Britain would be just too bizarre for Americans. It is too bizarre for quite a few British people I have met, they thought the vomiting Womens'Institute lady was too gross, (I found it hilarious). I have to say that Bubbles was rather gross, in every sense, but still extremely funny. Lou and Andy are just inspired and so is Daffid,(spelling?) 'the only gay in the village' Britain at its best.

Arisuta, we agree on something. This could be the start of a reconciliation, I feel.

My favourite character is Marjorie Dawes, because she gets away with murder when she`s talking to the asian woman.

(quoting from memory, so forgive any mistakes)

`Now, can anybody name some of their favourite foods....Yes, Meera.`

    `Fish and Chips.`

    `Sorry...didn`t catch that...`

    `FISH-AND-CHIPS!`

*shrug of the shoulders, looks around the room for support*

`Nah...don`t get it. Must be some dish we don`t get over here. I`ll just put curry, yeah?`

If you ask her nicely, she might let you wear her pants for a night. lol. Just joking, yeah BoA is extremely hot, but much too young for an old guy like me.

Regarding Little Britain, If you check out Chavscum, and look at the photos, you will find chavettes making comments that read exactly like Vicky Pollard, it's hilarious. 'Yeah but, no but, yeah but, he's well buff 'e is, i'd well do im' pmsl

I can't stand 'Little Britain'. Watching two Oxbridge boys display their hatred of the 'chavs' by doing a ____-weak imitation of 'League of Gentlemen' mixed up with some rejected scripts that Matt Lucas must have nicked off the set of 'Shooting Stars'.

    grrrrrr!!!!!

I wonder what the next 'hilarious' LB creation will be? Probably a character called 'spastic' that has one of them shouting 'uhhh i'm a spaz, i'm a spaz and i can't go to the toilet....uhhhh'

Question for USA posters. How do you say 5th-form humour in American English?

In the waters around Australia in the Timor sea there are Indonesian fishermen and the Australian government alows fishing to continue as it has for a long time before White settlement. This means that The Indos' can fish as they always have, no steel hulled boats, no GPS, No Rader and No maps. Just the way they have always done. Now I have nothing against the Japanese is they try to catch a Humpback in a dugout canoe in the sothern ocean, but when they set sail in their floating factories and track the whales using the lastest high tec gadgets it is not on. I love Japan and respect their ways but this is not the way whaling has been done in the pastIf a whale swam up a river in Japan it would either be killed for research or made into cookies school bags hats and T-shirts over night and protected.....but they would most likely just cut it up to find out how and why a whale could be soooooo FuCin stoooopid!!!

Kangaroos are not an endangered species you idiot. They’re in plague proportions in some places and are hunted commercially. Best you go do another google search to get you facts straight before you open your mouth again princess.

So if there were millions of dugongs overrunning Australia its perfectly OK to go out and shoot them or does the fact they are CUTE had something to do with it?

Some places are overrun with koalas, too. Do you go out and shoot those as well?

The truth be known there are now more roos in Australia than before white settlement, The main reason is because the land was cleared for grazing and thus increased the feeding area the mighty jumping steaks. roos can also bread upto 3 times per year depending upon rainfall. I don't think that whales care about the rain or blades of grass. Do you?

I stumbled up this gem of a message board earlier. Some seriously literate debating about the issue of whaling going on here.

I`m sure some of the more aggresively opposed would fit right in here...

Now, people have accused me of playing up my whale-destroying abilities, so here is proof that I am the whale-master (as I have monogrammed on my T-Shirt)

Also take note of my favourite whale-club, which looks suspiciously like a large lump of poo.

By the way, it was pure fluke that I stumbled across this rotting hulk on Saturday, and I immediately though of you guys and gals.

    The smell was delightful.

And yes, that is my real hair.

    Default Back on topic!

In one of my classes the other day, whales came up. I asked my students if they had eaten whale before, and one had. I lost my composure and started to pout; it was kind of horrifying, really.

She said that on the sea coast there are people who have lived off whales for centuries and that eating whale was an important part of their culture.

1,000 years ago I might buy it but now it just seems like animal cruelty to me. People know how intellgent and social creatures whales (peaceful for that matter to) are, and still eat them. Its a diffrenece of morals and a gap in empathy, but now I can never look at this student in the same light.
