i guess mine is to go to spain. probably barcelona, or somewhere in the EU.

it would depend ...

you can filter for location, or for job type or for a variety of other things.

If I were to relocate it would be to Shanghai. Easy to get work, really interesting place and its the height of the bubble right now. If you have a good business plan you can probably survive even if the bubble pops.

my buddy is in china and is doing very well. When I visited him I was offered two different jobs by acquaintances of his.

shanghai girls are a very different bird to your average japanese.

Barcelona is an excellent town. The Ramblas alone is worth the trip. Not sure how enamoured I am with the Catalan style of life, but it would be a nice diversion for awhile. Istanbul was an amazing city which I could probably live, despite some of the dangers. British Columbia also gets high marks in my book.

I would probably try to start some kind of import export thing.

I am an EU citizen so the thought of being a citizen sounds really appealing.

A friend will retire next year from the Japanese company at which he has worked for the past 25 odd years. As a salesman for a pharmaceutical company he's made a nice nest egg and intends to buy some property in Viet Nam.

If I had a spare 5 or 6 million yen I would do something similar.

I will pobably go to Thailand to learn Muay Thai for a year or two. After that if I don't stay there, maybe Hong Kong or Shanghai.

Plan B for me to put my strength, cosmic courage, and his my super cool sword, against the forces of evil in Japan.
I would also save all those on a part time basis who lost all their savings gambling drunken nights in Pachinko parlors.I would help those devastated with handing them shiny brand new 500 yen coins.

considering the sheer volume of foreign persons in shanghai I would guess its not too difficult. China is a place where if you grease the right palm just about anything is possible.

my buddy married a local girl and the property is in her name in China and in his name in the usa. It should be relatively easy to get visa sponsorship, especially in Shanghai.
