Thread: Let's Barter

  1. #1

    Default Let's Barter

This is a branch off from Ken's Country Living thread. A Place for anyone with anything they would like to trade for something else. Post it here. I am sure The One would appreciate everyone keeping actual money out of it. PM's for actual contact information.

I would be willing to trade for those onions. I think my wife would only fetch one or two, but if you were to part with three for her, I'd be mighty grateful.

Anyone want to trade for English books? (As in I have, but I am illiterate so don't need 'em)

Building materials may come in handy in the very near future for me but all I have to trade is a sister with syphylis and an old kayak.

I inherited a crapload of tools, a place I bought was previously owned by a handyman who died. Can part with some. Dunno about a kayak though. Maybe the sister, if anyone here is bartering off a cure for syphilis.

    Haven't taken pics.
Tools are mostly for construction, no farm implements.
Some I plan to keep, others will be up for trade.

Will make a list, but it will take some time.

Anything in particular that you're after at this point in time?

Kudos, homesweethome! Even if it wasn't your idea, it was a good idea to put it here. I think this is such a good thread...assuming people used it as intended. Bartering is often suggested as a great way (although not often used nowadays) for people -- any person -- to save money...so good idea! I've known some people here who have done that with English lessons...in return for various things (and I'm not talking dates...though that is likely what often happens!)

    Hiya Person,

Actually, the whole bartering idea here on the Pot was originally HSH`s idea. He offered me seeds a few months back. Thanks HSH.

There are several types of tooth designs on a crosscut saw, but the most common are champion and lance. The lance tooth is best for cutting softwood and the champion best for hardwood, but they are always interchangeable in a pinch. Anyway, I`ll be using it to cut Sugi.

Default RANCH ALBUM - Cowboy documentary

I`ve got the VHS. Who wants to barter?

Rugged cowboys in Arizona doing what they do best; cowboying.

"Beautifully edited, this outstanding video — originally filmed in 1988 and released as a PBS Special — is a gut-honest, straightforward telling of the modern cowboy at work. This documentary portrays what ranching and cowboying is really all about as it seamlessly takes the viewer through all four seasons on a remote cattle ranch in the tough, high country of Arizona.

Default Okay ,pottery , car parts and looking inside a machine

Eku was more interested in the contents I have which "could" be supplied as part of an exchange. Car parts and Car export I only deal with known associates on this forum. There is no track record for business exchange with Eku.

In my area (Saitama) I have milked it dry with my machines. pockey mon. World cup trinkets etc. I have moved on to a much better idea. I'll give it away when I'm done with it .

    hmmmm there is actually
    right here on the pot
exchanged one computer hardware/software upgrade for a subaru vivio...
another pc is actually arriving at a GPers house by takkyubin as we speak...
so if you were looking for a really good pc or even a k-truck (veteran procurer and arranger of daihatsu hijet which are then exported 15 to a container to cuba via dominican republic) you would have had the right idea to deal with me.
    but since youre picky
    its ok
i mean you cant be that successful if you need to trade it for a k-truck which can be aquired on auction for about 3man yen.
anyway the sextoys are probably all spoiled from sitting in the machine for so long.
