Two wheeler driving license

My friend has an India driving license for two wheeler and he wants to convert this license to Japanese license (he lives in Kanagawa pref). His license is valid for geared vehicles of 50 CC and above (nothing is mentioned about upto how much CC he can drive). Request if some one could help us with the following questions:

(1) Will it be possible to apply for "Ordinary two-wheel license"?

(2) How is the written test for converting foreign two wheeler to Japanese two wheeler license? Is the test same as the one for converting foreign car driving license to Japanese car driving license?

(3) Is there any way to practice for the two wheeler driving test prior to taking the test?

Any other tips / suggestions would be of great help.

Just a couple of questions. What country is your friend from? and how long did he/she have the licence for in his/her home country before coming to Japan?

My friend is from India and after obtaining the license in India he had stayed there for 2 years before coming to Japan.

My friend has successfully applied for converting his 2 wheeler foreign license to 2 wheeler Japanese license. He was told that he can apply for any type of 2 wheeler Japanese license. Finally he chose to apply for regular motorcycle.
