Thumbs down 7 arrested for pot in Akita

LOL. They arrested 7 people for having 2 grams of pot??? Do you realize thats not even enough herbals (especially since its prolly not even that good of quality) to get those 7 people high enough to get the munchies??? LOl, ok I exaggerate a little, but those herbals woulda been gone in 10 minutes in one blunt.

Then they search his house and "find" more?? .17 grams. What a farce, they found some stems and thats all. Kooks.

Goes to show you dont send ____ in the mail. So lame to get hassled over this ____. I still got enough thc in my system from 2 weeks ago to sneeze that much. And that 50,000 yen figure is complete bulls(*&*, try 12,000 tops (Id say much less since they are in the fuggin countryside).

Waste of resources. Go after some real drugs and drug users, people that actually cause problems, not someone who gets a little high, eats food and falls asleep.

Good point. I usually spilled that much every bong fill in those smoking days in the States.

Not the same - unless done to an extreme and heavily.

There are safe limits for alcohol, but none for dope smoking.

Not the kind of stupid that's forever, though. I've never known anybody who actually burnt out on it.

I've seen a few people ruin their lives with coke, however.

I think was was meant is that there is no such thing as a non-damaging dose of many drugs like tobacco, pot, coke, meth and many others. A single use is once too much.

On the other hand, taking a *reasonable* amount of alcohol, coffee, tea, chocolate and many others has not adverse effect on your health.

This reminds me.... I haven't got my dose of coffee yet............

OTSU -- The eldest son of former Finance Minister Masayoshi Takemura was handed a suspended prison sentence Monday after being convicted of growing and possessing cannabis.

The son, Shunichi Takemura, 44, a former professor at Newton College in Shiga Prefecture, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment, suspended for five years, in the ruling at the Otsu District Court.

Takemura was convicted of growing 16 cannabis plants in pots at his home between March and August last year. He also had 143 grams of marijuana hidden at his home on Feb. 4, according to the ruling.

In addition, Takemura was convicted of stealing and illegally acquiring about 40 items including medicine and a rear-view mirror from a pharmacy and a car-parts retailer in Koka, Shiga Prefecture. (Mainichi)

Exactly. And one of the big reasons younger folks tune out the lectures on the evils of drugs is that everything is grouped together as all bad. Teenagers quickly realize they're being lied to. It's unfortunate, because I do believe many drugs--both legal and illegal--are extremely harmful. Like you said, grouping pot and coke together and calling them both equally bad is absurd.

Meth, speed, coke, etc. All bad sh1t. Ruins lives.

    Alcohol too for some.

Pot...for some also. But those same people usually go onto another drug, another high, to get their kicks. Thats what ruins their lives. Maybe if they hadnt had the balls to take the 'bad' drug pot, then get the balls to go to coke or whatever else, and eventually die, maybe if that hadnt happened, they would simple become an alcoholic and die of cirrosis or worse, kill somoeone else drunk behind the wheel.

Anyway, good bust if it was meth! Definately not down for that sh1t. Changes your state of mind, people do farked up things, total addiction. Ruins lives.

PS We can probably get all the details on this case and more via file sharing, apparently a member of his imperial majesty's finest installed Winny.

    No how's that for transparency
