Hello everybody!

Just a quick note to say that Australian band MAJOR are in town for a few promotional shows this coming week - and that we highly recommend checking them out if you are in the Tokyo/Yokohama area Thursday thru Sunday this coming week.

MAJOR are a young 4-piece band from Sydney Australia that have been musically compared to such bands as COLDPLAY, TRAVIS, CROWDED HOUSE, OASIS, and TEENAGE FANCLUB. Their new album just hit stores a few days ago, and it's looking like MAJOR will be making some serious impact in Japan over the next few months!

THU (5/08): TOKYO Hard Rock Cafe ROPPONGI (start time not yet decided - best to try to make it around 7pm)

FRI (5/09): Hard Rock Cafe YOKOHAMA (start time not yet decided - best to try to make it around 7pm)

SAT (5/10): HMV SHINJUKU SOUTH (in Takashimaya/Tokyo Hands/Times Square Building). Start time is 5pm (30 minutes)

SUN (5/11): HMV YOKOHAMA (at YOKOHAMA VIVRE) Start time is 13:00
(30 minutes)

All shows are free!

DOes anybody from Australia know about this band????

From Melbourne...actually still in Melbourne and nope never heard of them. But looking at the bands which they sound like (COLDPLAY, TRAVIS, CROWDED HOUSE, OASIS, and TEENAGE FANCLUB) I don't think they will be my cup of tea

But then again it's FREE!!
