Default Japanese little league baseball - sooo close!

The little guys lost 4-3 to a team from the U.S. (Georgia).

Japan was up 2-0 early, but ended up losing in extra innings.

Being 2nd best in the world is still pretty impressive, imo.

    Talking

Actually Little League baseball is much more interesting than the big leagues, and some of the little players are much better players at times and then again some weird plays happen.

I thought you were talking about their bus trip back to the airport. It caught fire, both the Japanese & Taipai LL teams were on the same bus. no one injured

Well, obviously at least one little league team plays it:

    Doupnitza Little League
    Doupnitza, Bulgaria

    They beat Austria.

    Beat Austria?

Hell, a coked up Bulgarian beat Austria with a single shot about 93 years ago!

Haven't heard much about the Hapsburg Dynasty since, have you?

Boy, that Franz Ferdinand had a change up pitch that could twist your eyes round in their sockets.

They called him the Duke. I think that was seen as a way to counterbalance the Moorish influence with the Sultan of Swat.

Okay, but a bit more than four. Anyway, I was making a point that the winning team got there in a crowded field of dreams.
