    Default Im stoooo stuck

I know this question has probably been asked so many times.

But if someone can help I would be gratefull.

My girlfriend is living inTokyo as a dance teacher.

And after going over there i have fallen in love with the place.

I have a H.N.D in design, and also studied for my B.A. which i finished, but due to problems with the course, everybody failed.

Is this a major problem, or are ther ways around it?? Would i be better applying for a working holiday visa, or should i just go out there

    and look for work.

Please help me if you can , coz i miss the place Boo Hooooo

    Thanks for your help.

p.s. I live in the U.K if thats any help

you can come on a holiday visa and look for work. that would be helpful if you can live with your girlfriend and don't have to worry about a place to stay of food for a bit. Tokyo will be no problem. just come out and charm your way into a job

If you qualify for a working holiday visa you should definately get it before coming over. You will save yourself money and hassle. Working holiday visas are very attractive to employers because then they don't have to worry about sponsoring you. It also gives you a lot more flexibility because you can choose to work at part time jobs or do non-teaching jobs (restaurant, bartending, etc.) which normally don't sponsor people for working visas. If you think you may want to stay long term though (over 2 years) then why not just finish your bachelor's degree first? This also gives you more options for the future if you decide you want to go into more professional work later on.

If you want to get a regular working visa you need to have your bachelor's to qualify and most employers won't even want to look at you if you are coming over just on a tourist visa with no degree. (If you have the degree though then it's no problem to apply for a working visa after getting hired.)
