There is an English speaking dentis in Ogikubo. On the train going towards Mitaka, go up the stairs and turn right, go down the stairs, there will be a MacDee on your left look straight ahead and you can a see a Mister Donuts walk up to it and look to the right you should see an entrance way go into it and find the elevator the dentist is on the fourth floor. The office is called Sasaki clinic, phone 3391-2222. He trained in the USA and is very good. I use him when I need him.
If you want I also know one other but he is down in Roppongi and kind of expensive because his clients have money.
Hayashi san rocks.

I'll second the opinion on Dr. Hitomi Hayashi. So friendly, skilled and professional. I had two wisdom teeth out with laughing gas and she had the teeth out before I realised.
I also need to have my wisdom teeth taken out. If you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost all up?Originally Posted by markwell
Yup! And if looking into those eyes won't take the pain away, nothing will. Her claim of "pain-free dentistry" is an understatement.Originally Posted by markwell
HEY,
"Tokyo English Speaking Dental Clinic", in Eifuku-cho, 13 mins from Shibuya Station on the Inokashira line. Its great. I live in Ibaraki Prefecture but travelled to this dental clinic many times. I too have the National Health insurance making it VERY cheap! I paid next to nothing to get my work done! Good chance to catch up on dental needs while in Japan and on the health insurance scheme.
check out the website (english): www.iihani.com
Good luck.
There are many US trained and licensed dentists. Unfortunately they are more expensive than others and do not accept National Health Insurance. If you have private insurance, one of your options may be to try out some of these dentists.
The one I have experience is
United Dental Office in Azabudai.

The doctor is very up to date in diagnosis and treatment techniques.
Why is it I am the only one who ran outta the dentist seat. He wanted to tie me down!![]()
I think I am bound for Tokyo.
And that ain't no joke.
I know the dentist in Tokyo who speaks good English and accepts Health insurance.
Clean, high-tech, good mannes, good staffs, painless..
