    Question Working Holiday Visa Question....

    Hi room,
I have a huge inquiry regarding "working holiday visas"?

I did some research and read that there is an existing list of countries who do require working holiday visas since they share a similarity with how employment is at Japan. Anyhow, I'm from the Philippines and I so wanted to apply at a resort job in Okinawa....working at a resort had always been a longtime dream!

And so I ask, is there any consideration taken when the applicant and the country she originated from doesn't provide "working holiday visas"? I have had travel visas before and my sister who used to go school in Japan had a student visa, my brother working in Japan have a working visa.

Is there such big difference with acquiring a temporary visa from a working holiday visa?

What if i can't really get a working holiday visa? is there a substitute visa that I can get instead?

Your wording is a bit confused. "Requires" working holiday visa? No country requires it. They may accept it or not.

You are not eligible for a WHV here.

If you are not from the countries on the list, you can't get the WHV.

    Yes, read the regulations.

The temporary visa does not allow work. A WHV allows work.
They require different paperwork, too, and they are valid for different periods of time.

Read the other regulations to see what type of work visa you may qualify for, and whether you are qualified.
