Funny you speak of smell coming from someone who reeks of tabouleh, baba ghanoush, and dolma.

Dolma? Some sort of Greek dish? I was just thinking about bodily smells, when my wife remarked that my shirts are getting stinkier with my age, despite being new shirts and washed after every wear. Is this a men-age-and-stink thing. My students complain about "oyaji smell" or their own fathers' laundry...etc. Tell me it isn't so.

1 possibility could be choosing a fragrance like Old Spice that even my father wore in a different century

That could be the answer---just embrace that old age sort of smell and wear Old Spice for nostalgia. I gave a bottle to my Grandfather sometime in early elementary school.

Could you elaborate the Arabic smell a bit? You are talking about the language right?

No, about food.Tastes differ. We all have the right to like or dislike this or that food. How did it happen that you didn`t recognize the names of Arabic dishes but you speak about the language?
