    Default Babysitting

    hi there.

question that I hope someone can answer.

We are a mixed couple with 3 kids based about 30 mins outside of Tokyo on the Denentoshi line (actually Yokohama, but it is over 30 mins from Yokohama also). After many years of not going out, my wife and I feel the need for a little R&R by ourselves, with out having to take the kids along.

Can anyone recommend a good baby sittering agency at a reasonable rates?? We looked at one already but they insist on two sitters for 3 kids and also charge "nyukai kin" - they cost more than the cost of going out!!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Daddio,

Ooo, feel your pain! We got a recommendation for a local babysitting service from our daughter's hoikuen. We ignored it for about 8 months until we finally remembered we had it, used it (MUCH cheaper than some of the other services around), our daughter loves the sitters, and we are very happy with it and our new-found semi-social life.

The service is too far away from you, but the point being, if your kids are in hoikkuen or yochien/school, or if you have some sort of municipal kid-type facilty near by, ask the staff there (or pop down to city hall).
    Good luck!

hello I'm Monika, 24 years old.
I'm looking for a babysitting job. I'm good with children, I used to teach sunday school children.
I speak English fluently and speak Japanese passively.
Anyway please email me if you need a baby sitter.
    Thanks before.
