Everybody sooner or later comes to the point of looking for a new job. Even Mr. "Lifetime Salaryman" as it turns out... But the information game here is sorely rigged. While the Personal Information Privacy Laws instituted in April 2006 went a long way to allowing people to control the handling of their private data by private companies and corporations, the recruitment agencies still keep and sift vast databases of information on each of us for years if not decades.
All the while they present themselves to us as an implacable "Stone Wall" when it comes to the public's evaluations of their performance and efficacy. I'm sure that's how they'd like to keep it but I'm more interested in turning the worm and seeing some stories and opinions here you've had with particular firms to help sort out the good, the bad and the ugly... and should help morale with the feedback sinkhole we individually and inevitably suffer at the hands of the Tokyo "job market".
If you think any comments might get you "tagged" by watchful agencies, then post under another ID... but post!
