Anyone know a good book on this topic?

This may not belong in this thread, but I'm not sure where else to put it.

I have a friend who has been asking me questions about the American Civil War, and my Japanese isn't really good enough to answer him adequately. Anyone know a good book in Japanese on the topic I could get for him? I'm not looking for anything too intense--something on the order of a coffetable book with lots of pics, or written at about a high school level. I've tried a couple of bookstores, but no joy so far.

Also, if he feels like spending some money, he could get The Civil War--the Ken Burns 12 hour documentary --used on e-bay, with Japanese subs. We got Ken Burns "Jazz" the same way. Somewhat pricey, but an heirloom. Douglas
