I am a female and have been suffering from what i thought was a bladder infection. I went to that clinic by Tokyo Tower and they gave me meds for a bladder infection, but they are not working, and I really think I need to see a doctor again. I don't want to go back to that clinic bacause they dont take NHI and it's really expensive.
I do have NHI, but I just don't know where to go.
I don't understand how all the medical stuff works here.
Should I go to a hospital? And if so, do I just go to the emergency room or do I need to see a certain doctor??
Any advise please. I live in Nakano-ku and I do have lists of hospitals form the internet.....but just want to choose the right place....meaning where I can use insurance and not too expensive and doctors that are good.
I'm a bit scared as I've never had to deal with this kind of thing here, and only have an experience with a local doctor who basically gets paid to prescribe you more medication!
How is the medical care here and how does the system work??
