Anyone remember how not too long ago Blacks were depicted as dumb, simple-minded, uneducated buffoons through racist Buckwheat caricatures? Or how frequently portraying Black characters as criminals cemented negative stereotypes of Black Americans for years to come? We look back at those times in America and marvel at how incredibly racist this country can be and how remnants of those times and effects still remain.

The "Minnesota" Mike character is a perfect example of what was done to Blacks but now directed at Asians. The inclusion of such a random ethnic actor in an all-White cast (Fargo, North Dakota does is in fact have a whopping 96 percent White demographic) made no sense until the character was unfolded did you realize the sole purpose of the Asian aspect of this character. It was a sickening display and hard to stomach how a film touted as one of the greatest in cinematic history could feature such blatantly racist propaganda. The funny thing is the directors are of Jewish decent who have been victimized of propaganda since forever themselves, yet now that they are free to cry persecution at the slightest bit of pro-Christianty bias, they are free to dump all over Asian people at their heart's desire? I will never watch another Coen brothers production for as long as I live. Hopefully someday Asians much like Blacks and the Jews will no longer suffer the prejudices of any or certain groups looking to spread those narrow minded views as the world will no longer be willing to accept them.
