The smart ones get out there and get paid to learn or do something.
C'mon, at least make intelligent comments. For the most part this isn't true and I'm pretty sure you know it. There are those who attend because they are concerned about their future, those who attend because they feel they should and plenty more because they want to and because they believe -- often correctly -- that they will do better because of their degree(s). I have 4. So what if someone has a degree in English lit. with minors in Latin and philosophy? Was it worthless? That's really not for anyone other than that person to decide.
    I hate the NTA.

hmmm.. Why is it that I get the sense that those who are most vociferous in their rants over higher education are those who do not have it? Compensate much ????

Kinda like the twit with the small pecker buying the mongo SUV even tho it'll never see a scrap of dirt or tow anything... Its just BIG.. That's all that counts..

Or like the tranny who is more feminine than a real woman.
Hey, just because I can get laid a lot here doesn't make it paradise. Or a "free" society.

hahahahaha.. You didn't even READ this article did you ???
Either that or your total lack of schooling and intelligence didn't allow you to understand it !!

    hahahaha...

You shoot your own case by posting this..

"People with college and graduate degrees generally earn more than those without them, and face lower risks of unemployment, according to figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics."

"Even those who experience a few years of college earn more money, on average, with less risk of unemployment, than those who merely graduate from high school"

“You get some return even if you don’t get the sheepskin,”

“It’s not just about the economic return,” he said. “Some college, whether you complete it or not, contributes to aesthetic appreciation, better health and better voting behavior.”

    lol.. and take the following:

"Among the top 10 growing job categories, two require college degrees: accounting (a bachelor’s) and postsecondary teachers (a doctorate). But this growth is expected to be dwarfed by the need for registered nurses, home health aides, customer service representatives and store clerks. None of those jobs require a bachelor’s degree."

lol.. and.. "Most would-be RNs (registered nurses) earn a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an associate's degree in nursing, which takes 2-3 years, from an accredited nursing program." Uhh.. This is college too...

"home health aide" Ok.. I have no idea on that one (and don't really care)... I think that's the lady who comes over to help granny take a sh!t and wipe out her bedpan.. FUN JOB!

The last two listed and not accounted for.. "customer service representatives and store clerks".. Oh JOY! I want to work a register at Sears for the rest of my life !!! Hey, I get to work on weekends and Xmas eve too! BONUS!!!!!! WHAT FUN !! and for PEANUTS as well as being treated like SH1T by some looser manager with too short pants and bad hair/breath.. And as for "customer service representatives".. Well.. HELLO BANGALORE.. bye bye job !!

Oh.. And as far as NOT going to college.. The article clearly states that IF there were viable vocation alternatives to college, which there are not, then vocational school would be a good alternative for many.

You know.. You really out to READ your proof before posting it as such.

Your point is muted by your grammer. lol

Education confirms that even morons can repeat what they are told. And Kurogane is here to prove my point. But i believe a good education can make your life alot easier. Then again it's better to happy then be a walking school book =P
