    Default Tokyo Happy House-Advice?

(Sorry if this is already here. I couldn't find it, and thought it was erased..)

Has anyone had any experience with Tokyo Happy House? Or heard anything about them?

    http://www.tokyohappyhouse.com/index.php

Now, before you think I'm a rich American, let me say that I was considering going blue tent. So I don't care if this place is dirty, not new, etc.

Their site is either incorrect or contradictory. It's updates on available rooms/apartments is not correct. It has maps for the wrong houses. It's fees are different.

They require a deposit via paypal, and also a 1,000 yen paypal fee for processing 30,000 yen. I went to the paypal site and couldnt find the listing of 1,000 yen processing fee....

Also, it's the same price for a room, a dorm, or your own nice apartment! In fact, some rooms cost more than the apartment!

They say that the reason the site is not accurate, is because while they own/run the site, they currently have no access to it...

Needless to say, I reserved their last apartment. It's the best deal, and easiest place to move in to(I know many other agencies that are affordable, and offer short term, but a 1-2 week application time. I don't want to live on the streets fro 2 weeks, then get a place!) I leave in 3 weeks, and can move in right off the plane!

So I wonder, are they safe? Does this sound normal? Anyone ever heard of these people?

Thanks for reading, and for input!

PS-If they are legit, but just have very unprofessional business methods, that is OK with me. Those kinds of people are usually easier to deal with for other things..

Edit- I just checked, the apartments are actually cheaper than all the rooms! I don't get that.

Thanks. We needed that on here.

I decided not to stay with them. However, they seemed friendly enough.
