Default Hiding my eikaiwa experience and putting a tiny family school instead

I don't really want to put ECC on my resume even though i have worked there for seven years, i have started working in anothers school part time, if i put that name and the managers name on the resume instead of ECC would it affect my high school/uni applications? Would it make any difference I mean the contact is a friend with a mobile who will say i have worked for him for seven years instead of a big chain company like ECC. I guess they might find out when tax papers are an issue if I get the job though.

It's up to you really, it can work but at the same time it can backfire. The real question is why won't you list the experience and the person who was the boss?

I say, if you feel comfortable and think it can work; why not. You only have one life, live it out the best way you can.

I butted heads with an employer some years ago but I had also been working PT with another outfit on the weekends. I just omitted the employer (that I fought with) from my resume and listed my other job only. I listed the dates and responsibilities. No lies. No problem. New employers generally won't ask for tax stuff unless you worked somewhere else that year. Worse case scenario, you do your own taxes that year.

Resume embellishment is way more common that most people would admit publicly. I say make sure you get your story straight, have your bases covered and go for it. As long as it is, in essence, true - i.e. you aren't pretending to have an MD, then crack on.
To the uneducated, an A is just three sticks.

Why don't you PM him/her and find out?

I mean, you may as well, you made time to type a condescending post on this thread.......................why not shoot a PM to the OP??
