Default Haneda Airport / Air Do Airlines

I'm here in Japan living with a proper, valid visa (and passport). I'll be going to Hokkaido soon with my wife on Air Do airlines, and was wondering what identification (if any) I need to get into Haneda Airport, or to board my plane. I have a similar trip via ANA and on 2 inquiries, they swear I need no passport or alien reg card at all, which I found impossible to believe. Just want to know what to bring or not bring.
    .frowns.

A valid visa is what? A spouse? A temporary visitor? If you are tavelling inside Japan, you are not crossing international borders and airlines don't care about your IDs. The check-in is done automatically, I mean you will use a machine, not even a person. Of course you have a luggage, you will use a check-in counter. But technically all foreigners visiting or residing in Japan must carry their IDs on them all teh time, including PR holders. Moreover, if you are a temporary visitor here, you will have to show your passport at the hotel.

I found that domestic flights were like bus rides. We gave our names and got our tickets.

When I went to Hokkaido from Osaka 4 years ago, i had to show them my passport. so why not just carry that incase. or your alien card.
