I have gotten a job in a school and i am on 2 weeks training. The principle said that he wants me to continue working after training and sponsor me for a working visa. I have done computer course`s in ireland but i dont have any actual diploma or degree. My qualifications are all certificates of what ive done throughout the course`s(3-4 years worth of study)and are pretty high level qualifications in the computer field.(Microsoft, Cisco) The thing is that all my certificates say "certificate in..." and not diploma. The prinicple says that immigration cannot speak english and only recognise the words Diploma or Degree and therefore will not be able to issue me the working visa. My documents have not yet been sent to immigration but they all prove ive studied in a particular field.

Is there anything i can do to persuade immigration to issue me working visa or anyone with similar experience. The school wants me to stay and i want to stay.I would be grateful for your input.(i havent actually contacted immigration at this point)
