At the moment its costing ¥7000 Return to GoldCoast, Australia!
No I didnt make a mistake, its ¥7000 (Around 70 bucks.) With the tax it will end up costing around ¥30000 I think.. Anyway check the adds on TV with Bekki and a few other Japanese chicks on the beach! To most the people thinking JETSTAR is crazy and budget, its not THAT bad, I used it a few times, (Doesnt compare to JAL AT ALL though! No free booz till your totaly out of it like JAL.) To people flying from Aus you can get a normal Jestar return fair to Japan for around $500 AusD. Happy Flying!

Yes the wife and I took full advantage of this just recently and will do so more often in the future now that they have direct flights from the Gold Coast to Nagoya.
The only thing I’d say is to BYO small blanket.

$200 Australian to Japan from the Gold Coast, including taxes. That must be around 15000 yen. Just did it, and return flight was th same. GO JETSTAR!

If any GP people are going to the Gold Coast taking advantage of the Jetstar cheap airfares and need accomdation, I have access to 10 sub-penthouse aprtments in Q1 in Surfers Paradise.
Through a requirement for one of our business projects in Japan and Austrlia we were required to be registered inbound tour operators in Queensland, hence access to wholesale hotel rates. The apartments are around the 45th - 54th Floors, self catering, Italian furniture, car park, 2 bedroom sleeping 4 -6 people and all the Q1 facilities. Much cheaper than hotels...walk-in walk-out. Send a message if interested, I can send seasonal rates etc and arrange bookings..... Q1 is about 30 minutes from Gold Coast airport |
