      hmm.. I don't think Japan likes China very much but I think any experience no matter where from would look good!

        Are you white and/or from an English speaking country?
        Do you have a degree in anything whatsoever?
        Do you have a criminal record?

        If you answered Yes, Yes, and No, congrats, you're hired. Previous experience means not a damned thing for entry-level jobs.

            There are quite a few eikaiwas that are run by Westerners and quite a few Westerners that hire in big companies. They would be more understanding of experience in another country.

              they'd rather hire that than

              a) someone with nothing
              b) see someone go from japan to china
